Entrepreneurship @ UBC is a department that brings together the talents of UBC faculty, alumni, and students by exploring entrepreneurship and innovation opportunities. The department specialises in founding and supporting start-up companies, raising capital, and creating job opportunities across Canada.
On April 27th, St. Regis students had the chance to join in the Think Like An Entrepreneur event hosted by Entrepreneurship @ UBC. The event featured an inspired presentation by Andrea Lloyd, the Engagement Associate Director of Entrepreneurship @ UBC, who discussed skills and qualities essential to overcoming entrepreneurial challenges. After the presentation, St. Regis students had the chance to mingle with entrepreneurs, UBC professors, and other attendees, sharing conversation and discussions on entrepreneurial subjects.
This event complimented St. Regis’ entrepreneurial approach and helped all those present gain a better understanding of business development.
