The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Educational Partnership Program is a program supported by the Department of National Defense (DND). This program provides St. Regis students with the unique opportunity to gain insights on the work performed by active service members of the CAF and the role Canada plays in preserving peace and stability on a global level.
As part of the CAF Educational Partnership Program, St. Regis students attend lectures given by officers who served in various capacities either domestically or abroad for the Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Navy, and Royal Canadian Air Force. Additionally, our students have the honour of receiving instruction from non-uniform members of the CAF, including specialists in information technology, strategic policy, and diplomacy.
Aside from classroom-based lecture presentations, the partnership program also delivers St. Regis students with special opportunities of experiencing the lives and duties of active service members first-hand, such as personally touring an active warship.
Finally, the CAF Educational Partnership Program enables St. Regis students to obtain first-hand information and greater access to other educational programs that are designed for high school students. Some of these programs include the Canadian Cadet Program and the Indigenous Peoples Summer Training Program.
