Home / Leadership
St. Regis is governed by leading figures in our community who contribute their extensive academic, entrepreneurial, and public service sector experiences to our school. UBC professors and former government officials form the backbone of the school’s Board of Governance and Academics Advisory Committee.
A Vancouver native and a proud UBC alumnus (BA’06, MA’08), Paul is the founder and current principal of St. Regis Secondary School. In addition to his work at St. Regis, Paul also serves as the Director of the New Castle Foundation, a transnational philanthropic organisation that provided sustainable housing and emergency relief for disadvantaged communities, victims of domestic violence, and survivors of the British Columbia Residential School System. New Castle Foundation presently operates in five different cities across British Columbia and New Brunswick, as well as two cities in Japan. The Foundation has contributed to and raised millions of dollars for housing and outreach projects which benefited the lives of countless people.
In light of his contributions to the educational and philanthropic sectors, Paul has been featured as a Spotlight Alumni of 2020 by UBC. Furthermore, Paul was invited to serve as a panelist guest speaker at the 60th Anniversary Celebration of UBC’s Department of Asian Studies and the 2021 and 2022 Annual Careers Night.
