Home / University Lecture Series
St. Regis students are given the opportunity to regularly participate in our University Lectures/Events Series. Throughout the entire school year, professors from UBC and other prestigious academic institutions present exclusive lectures to our students. These lectures, delivered by professors from various academic disciplines, cover a broad range of valuable topics, including enrollment requirements, ongoing research by students and professors, and future career opportunities. Our students greatly enjoy these presentations, which offer a deeper understanding of academic culture, the expectations of post-secondary education, and open new pathways for their future endeavors.
Furthermore, St. Regis students engage with other university communities online and participate in special events that are held on the UBC campus. For instance, the Asian Studies Career Night hosted by UBC’s Department of Asian Studies provides students with the unique opportunity to engage with accomplished alumni and seek for future academic and career advice. Moreover, the Holocaust Education Week facilitated by Hillel BC educates our students on a dark page of world history and the effects and implications of mass genocide. Finally, the online coding workshops provided by University of Alberta’s Faculty of Engineering systematically help our students build their coding skills.
